I grew up in central Vermont and worked on dairy farms in my early years. I joined the Navy shortly after high school followed by marriage.   As an enlisted sailor, we moved more than 10 times crisscrossing the US attending military schools.  We have two children and one grandson, all of which live here in AZ.   

I had a fulfilling career in the Navy, starting as an enlisted sailor, then ROTC, then several sea & shore tours where I eventually obtained my master’s degree before retiring from the military in the mid 90’s. 

I then worked for several defense contractors until retiring again after learning that my wife had cancer.  So, in 2010 we took to the road with our RV.  After spending 10 years traveling the United States in our RV, my wife and I decided to put down roots.  We selected Payson as our new and forever home.  We bought a home here in Payson, AZ in August of 2020.  We chose Payson because of the friendly people we meet while RV’ing and staying at the local campgrounds including the ELK’s Lodge, Lamplighter and W Ranch.  This community reminded us of our roots growing up in central Vermont.   We quickly felt at home and enjoyed the views, weather, and our neighbors.

Wanting something new and challenging to occupy my time, I chose to get my Arizona Real Estate license in April 2023, and now I am working with a great bunch of REALTORS® at ERA Young Realty and enjoying life.  I promise you that I will do my best to serve you with integrity and tenacity whether a Buyer or a Seller in the Rim Country Real Estate market.
